In the spring of 2009, in the midst of economic downturn, one industry in particular was growing nationally - that of re-sale. While enjoying shopping in consignment shops in the Brandon area for 20 years and watching the city’s population explode, it became apparent there was a need for a very different kind of consignment shop - one that would cater strictly to discriminating ladies who were looking for upscale clothing and accessories at unprecedented savings.

We envisioned a beautiful boutique—organized, clean and professionally displayed—offering new and pre-owned current styles from top retailers. We wanted a shop that would appeal to ladies accustomed to the very best brands, who would recognize and appreciate quality. We would add excellent customer service with an emphasis on meeting our ladies' individual needs. After much prayer (and many blessings), Julie's Walk-In Closet opened in Brandon in 2009 in a small store front on Brandon Blvd.

On December 5, 2011, we moved our beautiful consignment boutique across our parking lot to expand into an amazing 3,000 sq. ft. showroom filled with new and pre-owned clothing, shoes and accessories.  Ladies may now choose from their favorite mall brands, online stores, or select from beautiful new handbags imported from Italy.  We have become the “Go To” place in Brandon for gifts (and gift certificates) offering selections including fashion, vintage, sterling silver and fine jewelry from all over the world. Brian and Julie have been fortunate to have been joined by a team of creative associates who have helped us grow into the Best Ladies Consignment Boutique in our area.
